Assemblyman outraged over pending loss of student MetroCards

Outraged by the MTA’s pending designs to eliminate student MetroCards, Assemblyman William Colton plans to rally parents, students and community leaders to oppose the plans by initiating a letter writing campaign to Governor David Paterson, who has proposed a State budget cut of $25 million.

The public is invited to visit Colton’s District Office, 155 Kings Highway, to obtain sample protest letters, or call 718-236-1598.
