Brazen boob
A thief with a lot of guts, but apparently no brains, was arrested on Nov. 6 after he swiped a purse from a car on Coney Island Avenue — while two women were sitting inside the vehicle.
The two stunned witnesses said they were in the car parked between Kings Highway and Avenue R at 9 pm when the 19-year-old thief threw open the door, snagged the purse and ran off.
But he didn’t get far. Within moments one of his victims called police, who grabbed the suspect a few blocks away.

As the senior was taken to Maimonides Medical Center in Borough Park, his younger opponent was taken into custody, charged with assault.
iPhone force
A thug wrestled with a 23-year-old woman on a Downtown-bound F train during a harried bid for the woman’s iPhone.
The victim said both she and the thief were in the subway car at about 3:40 pm when the he snagged the iPhone out of her hands as the train reached the Avenue P station.
That’s when the young woman tried to get the phone back, but the thief got the upper hand and ran off with the pricey — and much sought after — electronic device.
Beaten down
A crew of thugs assaulted a 26-year-old on Oct. 28 as he and a friend walked along Avenue T.
Police were told that the two were nearing E. 29th Street at 3:50 am when the unidentified suspects jumped the man, leaving their victim with multiple injuries.
Chain snag
A thief yanked a chain off a woman’s neck as she waited for the bus at the corner of Ocean Avenue and Quentin Road on Oct. 26.
The victim told police that she and the future thief were waiting for the bus at 7:35 pm, but as the bus approached, the thug got in the woman’s face and ripped the chain from her neck.
He then ran off with her jewelry, cops were told.
Shot in face
A 23-year-old man was hospitalized on Oct. 29 after being shot in the face during a violent exchange with another man.
The victim was on Ryder Street when he was shot at 11:50 am, although police wouldn’t say exactly where.
