Beautiful friendship — a drink to accompany ‘Casablanca’

For a drink that Humphrey Bogart’s Rick Blaine would serve, try The Wit’s End.

Don Spiro of the monthly Jazz Age party Wit’s End created this gin cocktail, which will be one of the signature drinks during “Wasablanca” — Wasabassco Burlesque’s titillating homage to the 1943 classic, “Casablanca,” at the Bell House on Aug. 5.

Other cocktails that will be served during the cabaret include The Gin Rickey, named after Blaine, of course.

“The handcrafted cocktails are accurate of the time,” said Wasabassco founder Doc Wasabassco. “It’ll feel like you were actually there.”

Or, you can put on your sexiest trench coat and sip this baby back at home.
