An employee of the new BJ’s Wholesale Club on Avenue D was arrested for siphoning from the till.
Employees said the 28-year-old woman — whose job was to transfer bags of cash from registers to a back office — palmed $2,700 at different times between Feb. 7 and March 17, the day before she was arrested and charged with grand larceny.
Three months gone
Police are trying to find a 34-year-old E. 89th Street resident who’s been missing since January.
Police said that Chad Price, who’s 6-foot-4-inches tall and has a dark complexion, lives alone, but in an apartment above his cousin. Yet, neither his cousin nor anyone else has seen or heard from him for three months.

Damn that DNA
A 37-year-old man was arrested for breaking into a home on Avenue L this week after being linked to the DNA he left behind.
Police said that the thief broke into the home, which is near E. 92nd Street, sometime after 8 am on Feb. 18, taking two laptop computers and some credit cards.
But cops recovered a hat left behind at the scene that didn’t belong to anyone who lived there. Crime scene investigators connected the hairs on the hat to the suspect, who was already in New York State’s criminal DNA database.
Conklin crook bust
A thief broke into a Conklin Avenue address on March 25 — but was arrested before he could leave.
Witnesses say they saw the thief break a window of the address, which is between E. 93rd and E. 94th streets, at about 7 pm. Cops found him inside with a set of burglar’s tools.
A 27-year-old was arrested on March 17 after she attacked a girlfriend with a screwdriver during an argument on Farragut Road.
The victim said she and her friend were yelling at each other between E. 59th Street and Ralph Avenue when the woman lunged at her with the screwdriver, catching her behind the ear.
A thief snagged a ring from a Ralph Avenue jeweler on March 19.
Workers at the store, which is located near Avenue K, said that the thief came in just before 11 am and asked to see a ring in the display case.
When an employee took the ring out so the thief could have a closer look, the goon grabbed it and ran out the door.
Three gun-toting goons charged into an E. 92nd Street bodega on March 18, taking $2,000 from the till and the four victims they found inside.
The victims told police that the three thieves — their heads covered with scarves — entered the store, which is near Farragut Road, at 8:30 pm and flashed a gun, demanding all the money from the register. They then ordered the two employees and two customers to hand over their cash and wallets.
Beaten and robbed
A thug jumped a 42-year-old man on Avenue J on March 13, taking his wallet.
The victim was nearing E. 58th Street at 1 am when the thief attacked, leaving his victim with injuries to the head and eyes.
Stabbed on Utica
A thug stabbed a 32-year-old man in the chest on March 18 during a violent clash on Avenue N.
The victim told police that he was having words with his assailant — a complete stranger — near Utica Avenue when he the thug lunged at him.
