Ten pedigree meat hounds with iron stomachs made a beeline for Fort Greene’s Five Spot Soul Food Restaurant where they went gum-to-gum with some of the nation’s top eaters for the Famous Philly CheeseSteak Fest %u2013 the first such contest to be recognized by Major League Eating.

The beefy bunch included such renowned gobblers as Philadelphia-based eater Micah “Wing Kong” Collins, who downs the frizzled beef and cheese fare for breakfast, and Long Island bologna barracuda Allen “Shredder” Goldstein, but it was a real heavyweight who demolished them all in the end – svelte, 104-pound Juliette Lee, a member of the International Federation of Competitive Eating, who greased the competition by downing four-and-a-half of the cholesterol-laden beauties in 10 minutes.

The Marylander clinched the title, major bragging rights, plus a $600 cash prize for her seasoned effort.
