Borough President Marty Markowitz and New York Cares are asking Brooklynites to give the coats off their back, sort of.
Markowitz was joined recently by students from Believe Northside and Southside Charter High Schools in Williamsburg and Brooklyn Excelsior Charter School in Bedford-Stuyvesant, as well as representatives from Presenting Sponsor Health Plus, the Wildlife Conservation Society’s New York Aquarium, and Golden Krust Caribbean Bakery & Grill, to support the 21st annual New York Cares Coat Drive at Borough Hall in Downtown Brooklyn.
You can get involved by dropping off coats at Borough Hall or at hundreds of collection sites across the city.
Borough Hall is located at 209 Joralemon St.
