Coney Island Hospital and the Brooklyn Streetcar Artists Group are collaborating on the exhibit, “A Celebration of the Arts” at Coney Island Hospital, 2601 Ocean Parkway, corner of Avenue Z in the Sheepshead Bay section of Brooklyn.
BSAG brings the art world to the southern section of Brooklyn with the ultimate goal of having a home with galleries, studios, classrooms and an auditorium for the performing arts.
Branching out of the Brooklyn City Streetcar Company’s attempt to publicize its mission to bring green transportation to Brooklyn using historic trolleys in the borough, BSAG aims to create opportunities for artists and art lovers of all ages.
The exhibition, open to the public now through November 27, features 49 installments from 22 local artists in the second floor hallway of the hospital.%u2013 is open to the public until November 27.
BSAG artists range from first time exhibitors to those with world wide reputations.
