While crime is up in many of the city’s 76 commands, it continues to plummet within the confines of the 67th Precinct.
For the year to date, the precinct is down in felony crime a little more that 8 percent compared to this time last year, according to the latest official police statistics.
“We’re one of the commands where crime is down, and we’re doing it with less resources because of the hard work of the police officers here,” said Dep. Inspector William Aubry, commanding officer of the 67th Precinct.
