6–7:30 and 8–9:30 pm

The Norm Restaurant and Bar, 1st Floor

See how contemporary designers build on the innovations of Modern Gothic furniture design with a special after-hours talk, and sip from a range of wines inspired by the era of Kimbel and Cabus selected by Marquis Williams of Highly Recommended, a Brooklyn-based members-only wine club. This month, members of two design shops—Brooklyn incubator Lichen and Chicago-based Norman Teague Design Studio—reflect on their respective artistic communities and the ongoing legacy of Kimbel and Cabus. After the tastings and presentations, visit the galleries for an exclusive after-hours viewing of Modern Gothic: The Inventive Furniture of Kimbel and Cabus, 1863–82.

Tickets are $45 and include four wine tastings, small bites, and special after-hours admission to Modern Gothic: The Inventive Furniture of Kimbel and Cabus, 1863–82. Additional wine is available for purchase. Member tickets are $40. Not a Member? Join today!

All visitors 5 and older must show proof of vaccination. Visitors 18 and older are also required to show a valid I.D. Masks are required regardless of vaccination status.
