June Exhibitions — Short Descriptions

The Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition is presenting their spring-into-summer gathering of art exhibitions at their notable gallery space on the Red Hook, Brooklyn waterfront. Visit these five exhibitions from Saturday, June 18 to Sunday, July 17, 2022:

Wide Open 12 — a national juried exhibition. Juror: Sadaf Padder, a Brooklyn-based independent curator, writer and art dealer.

Portals — the BWAC member spring-into-summer exhibition

They/He /She — a fundraising exhibition by and for the LGBTQ+ community, in conjunction with Pride Month.

Good Neighbors Park Slope the Art Group — features the artworks of community seniors working in a variety of media, proving that aging doesn’t hamper creativity and the ability and will to produce compelling art.

Dreams Beyond Reason — is a solo exhibition of woodcuts by Emily Legleitner
