Description:

The fun is coming back.

Join us for an outdoor edition of Swamp in the City: A Cajun & Creole Music Festival on Governors Island, May 15-16, 2021.

Set on a 172 acre island in the heart of New York Harbor, the weekend-long open air festival will feature world class Cajun & Creole bands, jam sessions, picnic concerts, pod partner dancing and ample breathing room on New York City’s picturesque island. We hope you’ll join us!

We are thrilled to welcome Jesse Lége, Cedric Watson, Joel Savoy, Joe Hall, Kelli Jones, Wilson Savoy, Jourdan Thibodeaux, Chas Justus, Jo Vidrine, Rose & the Bros, Bayou Brew… and maybe more!

In order to track and manage volume, we are asking all attendees (ages 12 and up) to RSVP with a suggested donation of $45-100 (sliding scale). Please self-select based on your ability to pay.

Once registered, you’ll receive additional details about the event along with a complete festival schedule and event map by May 1st.

We hope you’ll join us on Governors Island May 15-16th!
