Well, at least the new Haagen Dazs at 7610 Third Avenue in Bay Ridge, which has been given a special old-fashioned ice cream parlor look.
Franchise owners Steven and Jaclyn Itkin went to great lengths to not only provide outdoor seating, but to put in a counter with stools so visitors can while away the day sipping on a cool treat or licking an ice-cream cone.
Those who come inside feel as if they’ve stepped back in time with a juke box on one side and a counter covered with old candies and other sweet snackables.
