More than 60 firefighters rushed to Court Street near the corner of Bergen Street this morning, dousing a smokey blaze that broke out at 8 am on the top floor of a four-story building above the legendary Court Street Bagels.
Fire officials said the conflagration, such as it was, was under control within 30 minutes — and there were no injuries reported.
The cause of the mini-inferno was unknown.
But readers know that where there’s smoke, there’s fire — so The Brooklyn Paper’s “First Responder Unit” is on this story like cream cheese on a bialy. Check back later.
