For the love of ices!

It’s double, double parking problem.

Mill Basin residents anxious to cool off at Dolly’s Ices are double- and triple-parking their cars to get some — in the “no standing” zone!

And even residents who can’t resist the sugary treats made inside the tiny mom-and-pop shack are getting fed up with the bottleneck it creates along busy Avenue U.

“It’s a hazard passing by there,” warned Bergen Beach Civic Association President Flo Hirsch. “It’s an accident waiting to happen.”

Hungry drivers had better be careful, because now cops say they will be cracking down on lawbreakers in front of the shop off E. 58th Street — issuing $150 tickets for double-parking and $115 summonses for parking in a no standing zone.

“No traffic violations will be tolerated,” admonished Captain Patricia MacDonald, executive officer of the 63rd Precinct.

Store owner Dolly Rago says it’s best to stay on the sweet side of the law, and suggested her customers avoid a licking from cops by parking across the street, or on E. 58th and E. 59th streets, where it’s legal.
