PLG Arts presents its fourth annual ArtMart 11225 community arts and crafts market, October 3 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (rain date: October 4) on Lincoln Road between Ocean and Flatbush avenues.
This annual Brooklyn favorite features lovely handmade jewelry, accessories, knitwear, clothing, one-of-a-kind pottery, instruments, and many other items. You’ll also find original artworks by local photographers, lithographers, and painters at incredible prices.
While you shop, enjoy live performances by local bands and solo musicians, and take advantage of great local food: K-Dog and Dunebuggy (coffee, treats, soups and sandwiches), Enduro (Mexican), Meytex Lounge (Ghanaian), and Ali’s Roti Shop (Trinidadian). Bring the kids for craft activities and a Halloween costume swap at the Maple Street School.
Artmart will be one of the first opportunities to view 20 recently completed murals along Lincoln Road and Flatbush Avenues, which feature the work of established and emerging Brooklyn artists, including Otto Neals, Karl MacIntosh, Margaret Whitehair, and Tess Korobkin.
