The Brooklyn Children’s Museum will host a sneak preview gala, May 12, offering a look inside its newly-expanded “green” building at 145 Brooklyn Avenue, designed by world-renowned architect Rafael Violy.
The evening will honor JPMorgan Chase and Frank Bisignano, chief administrative officer; Edison O. Jackson, Brooklyn Children’s Museum trustee and president of Medgar Evers College; and winners of the 2008 Charles E. Inniss Youth Awards.
A VIP reception will begin at 6 p.m. followed by the gala at 6:30 p.m., featuring the new spaces of the expanded museum.
WCBS-TV Anchor Maurice DuBois will serve as Master of Ceremonies. Alain Barbet, president and chief executive officer, Pernod Ricard USA, is the Gala Co-Chair.
The Trustee Co-Chairs are Steven Guterman, senior managing director, AIG Investments; Christine Lawton, senior vice president, Northeast Regional Manager, JPMorgan Chase; and Martha Newton, senior director of Program Management, Pfizer, Inc.
