Groovy! Spirit of Woodstock lives on!

Residents and staff of the New York Congregational Nursing Center, 135 Linden Boulevard in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn, celebrated the ’60s with a “groovy buffet” to commemorate Woodstock and the era of peace and love.

Residents got into the groove by wearing sunglasses, tie-dyed bandanas and peace symbols. Participants danced, swayed and clapped their hands to ’60s music played from a jukebox as colorful signs and peace and love flags were hung from the ceiling to remind the residents of the era.

While bubble tubes and colorful swirly images were projected onto to the ceiling, Linden Hall was the place to be for a hep ’n happening time.
