Our office is sort of closed to honor the memory of Martin Luther King, Jr. today, but we did want to fill you in on the big events going on in Brooklyn today.
The granddaddy of all MLK Day tributes is at the Brooklyn Academy of Music with Danny Glover and lots of great music at 10:30 am, but other great events can be checked out in our calendar for today by clicking here.
But remember, whatever you do, honor “the dream.” Perhaps by donating some time at today’s Day of Service in Park Slope?
And just because we’re not updating our Web site today, feel free to reach our reporters and ad salespeople at their desks (we’re all honoring Dr. King’s dream by working hard for our pay today).
