Hurricane relief

To The Editor:

Having seen on TV, on CBS several weeks ago, one of the places to donate food and other supplies for victims of Hurricane Ike is: 1612 Stillwell Avenue, The Bronx, New York.

I believe a better solution would be for the community boards, and Community Board 13 might take the lead, to have a big box for both board members and the people of the general public, who want to listen to the developments, to place canned food and other supplies and ship them to the designated areas.

This, in itself, would increase the amount of aid the victims receive 10-fold.
