Kids learn to DJ their very own parties

The course, which will be held at Still Hip, 283 Grand Avenue in Williamsburg, is not just about DJ skills, but rather the whole package — from planning the event to hitting the dance floor. The course is open to all ages six and up. So come and join Still Hip for this winter break workshop.

How to Host and DJ Your Very Own Disco Party, February 18-19, six years and up: Join local DJ Misbehaviour for this unique chance for your kids to promote and DJ at their own disco.

• The Prep! February 18, 3-5 p.m., $20, or $30 for both sessions: Kids plan their party, learn some floor moves, pick DJ names, make invites, decide on decorations and create a song list. All in preparation for the big event the following day.

• The Party! February 19, 3 p.m., $15, or $30 for both sessions: It’s time to party! Now that you picked the song list, learned the dances, let’s hang the decorations and party. Everyone gets to be a DJ. Invite your friends to the disco.
