Kimball Street revels in summertime fun & games

Young water warriors beat the heat with cooling dunks in the aqua slide while mom and dad fired up the grill for a sizzling block party in Marine Park.

Family fun was on the menu during the annual block party along Kimball Street, between Fillmore Avenue and Avenue S, where merriment was the order of the say.

Carnival-style amusements and special attractions lured homebodies outside to soak in the sunshine with their neighbors, plus share food and friendship.
