Kings County GOP to host Tom Ridge

Tom Ridge, former governor of Pennsylvania and the first Secretary of Homeland Security, has agreed to serve as the principal speaker at the Kings County GOP’s 2008 Lincoln Dinner at 6:30 p.m., June 18 at the Grand Prospect Hall, 263 Prospect Avenue in Park Slope.

Honorees include John Catsimitidis, businessman and CEO of Gristedes Supermarkets; Ed Mullins, president of the New York City Sergeants Benevolent Association; Herman “Hy” Singer, former chairman of the Kings County Republican Party; Rosemarie O’Keefe, former commissioner of the New York City Community Assistance Unit under Mayor Rudy Giuliani; and the Late Honorable Louis J. Marrero, Justice of the Supreme Court, Kings County.

The Lincoln Dinner is the main source of funding for all Brooklyn Republican activities.
