The Knights of Pythias Juvenile Diabetes Research Association is sponsoring a “Pitch & Putt” Golf Tournament at Jacob Riis Park in Rockaway, June 12, starting at 8:30 a.m., open to professionals and beginners.
The tournament features 18 holes of golf, breakfast, a barbecue, DJ, raffles and entertainment. The cost to compete is $60 per player and $20 for the barbecue ($25 on the day of the event).
