Community Markets’ Park Slope Farmers’ Market will join The Makers Market, January 10, indoors at The Old American Can Factory, an historic industrial & cultural complex on Third Street betweenThird & Fourth avenues, just one and a half blocks from the Farmers Market’s current outdoor location.

The markets will be held every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. until mid-May. The grand opening of the Farmers/Makers Market will feature live music, prepared food for sale and a ribbon cutting.

The farmers and food artisans from the Park Slope Farmers Market will begin selling their local produce and handcrafted food along side the Makers who sell artisanal wares, art and design products.

Along with local produce, wine, honey, farmstead cheese and gourmet breads, shoppers will find unique artisinal products such as stained glass panels, curiously decorated functional pottery, carefully crafted, wearable fine art, woven glass sculptures, delicious confections and much more.
