The Scandinavian East Coast Museum will host their annual Viking Fest, May 16 in Blissâ„Owl’s Head Park, 68th Street and Colonial Road, from 12−5 p.m.
The event is free and will have an assortment of fun activities for children of all ages including re−enactment organizations, The Norseman, a half−size replica of a Viking ship and crew, rides, Scandinavian food and Scandinavian items for sale.
The entertainment portion, “Touched by the Vikings,” will include a band from Norway, Celtic pipers, step dancers, Swedish folk dancers, Turkish drummers and ethnic dances from Young Dancers in Repertory.
