Lowlife hits man in the face with gun

68th Precinct

Bay Ridge—Dyker Heights

Gun to the face

A brute pointed a revolver at a man and then repeatedly hit him in the face with the gun, causing a laceration, inside a building on 101st Street on March 20.

The victim told police he opened his apartment door in the building near Fourth Avenue at 1:50 am to investigate what sounded like arguing in the halway.

The goon then pointed the revolver at him, and the victim punched him to get the gun out of his face, officers said. The savage then began to repeatedly hit him, causing the victim to eventually pass out, leaving the perp free to flee, according to the police report.

Shopping spree

A thief stole an estimated $1,200 worth of merch from an 86th Street department store on March 22.

The theft occurred just before 4 pm at the store between Fourth and Fifth avenues.

Came through the door

A burglar broke into a Marine Avenue home on March 22.

The miscreant busted through the door — causing damage in the process — to the apartment between Ridge Boulevard and 95th Street at around 10:30 pm, but the contents of the theft are unknown. The baddie fled on foot in an unknown direction, cops said.

Thick as three thieves

A pair of louts put a man in a chokehold and stole nearly $500 — while another kept watch from afar — on 84th Street on March 23.

Cops say the no-goodniks approached the man sitting in his car between Ridge Boulevard and Third Avenue around 6:30 pm. One opened the passenger-side door while the other remained on the driver’s side, officers said.

Once inside the car, the lout put the victim in the chokehold and demanded the cash, which he took from the front left pocket of his pants, police reported. And a third good-for-nothing was keeping watch over the theft from across the street, according to the report. The trio then fled on foot in an unknown direction, cops said.

Stealing was the least of it

Police arrested a man who they say had counterfeit $100 bills and heroin on him and also damaged an estimated $80 worth of goods at an 86th Street store on March 19 when he removed the items’ sensor tags.

The man tried to steal the goods at the shop near Fifth Avenue at about 2:15 pm, at which point the police also found up to four counterfeit bills and the heroin in pocket, officials reported.
