Madison, Lincoln in the driver’s seat

As the regular season winds down in the PSAL Brooklyn softball circuit, playoff spots have yet to be finalized.

What we do know is that Madison, with a 13-1 record (all stats as of press time) and Lincoln (11-2) are the only two teams in the borough that already have berths to the postseason.

For New Utrecht (8-6), they have four games remaining, including a rainout on May 9 against Grand Street. The lady Utes have been just mediocre by going 3-2 in the five games since coming back from Spring Break.

As for Fort Hamilton (6-8), the playoffs are still within their reach as four games are left standing. Finally, the Midwood lady Hornets (5-9), might have had their playoff aspirations’ dashed because of four defeats in the last five games since coming back from Spring Break.
