A 23-year-old man jumped to his death from a Ridge Boulevard apartment building on May 4, officials said.

The man took the plunge just before 10:50 am, apparently leaping from the fourth story of a residence between 68th Street and Bay Ridge Avenue, according to police.

Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene, fire officials said.

The death appears to be a suicide, and the man had a history of mental issues, police sources said.

Officials have not released the man’s name.

The medical examiner will determine the cause of death, and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
