Mardi gras creates smiles on Avenue M

Midwood morphed into a sun−kissed emporium of fun and festivity as residents joined forces with their neighbors for the annual Midwood Mardi Gras.

Presented by the Midwood Development Corporation (MDC) and now in its 33rd year, the festival – among the neighborhood’s premier outdoor spectacles – drew area revelers to enjoy a cornucopia of delights along Avenue M, between Ocean Avenue and East 13th Street.
