Bodega stickup
A masked gunman stuck up a deli on Neptune Avenue on Feb. 7.
Police said the man entered the store near W. 36th Street at 5:15 am. He took out a gun and pointed it at an employee behind the register and demanded money, according to the police report. The employee said he acquiesced and gave the gunman cash from the register. The thief then did the same thing to an employee behind another register, before fleeing on Neptune Avenue towards W. 37th Street, cops said.
The victims said they believe the man bought something in the store around 3 am the same day.
Police said the suspect is around 18 to 20 years old and 5-foot-5, weighing 150 pounds, police said. He was last seen wearing a black ski mask, a black jacket, black jeans, black sneakers, and black gloves, according to the report.
Razor slashing
A good-for-nothing cut a woman with a razor blade in a diner on Mermaid Avenue on Feb. 9.
The 18-year-old victim told police she was having an argument with the person at the eatery near Stillwell Avenue at 5:05 pm when the scoundrel slashed her face with the blade.
Police said the victim suffered several cuts to her face and that the baddie fled on Neptune Avenue towards Stillwell Avenue.
PayPal theft
A no-good thief stole more than $2,500 in PayPal credit from a Hubbard Street woman on Jan. 14.
The 45-year-old victim, who lives near Avenue Y, said the thief made charges totallying $2,551.54 to her PayPal credit, police reported.
Hit and rob
Three punks robbed a man on Bay 47th Street on Feb. 8.
The 37-year-old victim told officers he was near Bath Avenue at 9 pm when the three punks hit him in the face and took $40 out of his wallet.
The man asked for medical treatment for injuries he sustained in the incident, police said.
Apartment ransacking
A jerk stole jewelry and cash from a house on Murdock Court on Feb. 7.
The 39-year-old victim said he left his apartment near Avenue Z at 11:30 am, but when he returned later in the day, he found the apartment ransacked. The thief stole gold bracelets, other jewelry, and cash, officers reported. The victim told police he double lokced the front door when he left, but it was single locked when he returned.
Police said there are no cameras in the area.
Jewelry burglary
A no-goodnik stole jewelry from a woman’s apartment on W. Fifth Street on Feb. 6.
The 40-year-old victim said she left her home near Neptune Avenue at 7:45 am and locked the door. However, when she returned that afternoon, the front door was unlocked and cash, a ring, and jewelry were missing from her bedroom, according to the police report.
Police said they are looking at camera footage of the elevator and lobby of the building, and that there were no signs of forced entry.
Home break-in
A punk broke into a house on Brighton Third Street on Feb. 10.
The victim told police that the burglar entered the house near Brighton Beach Avenue at 3 pm and stole cash, a debit card, and other items before fleeing through the front door.
Police said there are security cameras at the site.
Sneaky wallet theft
A jerk stole a woman’s wallet on W. 21st Street on Feb. 7.
The 38-year-old victim said that someone took her wallet from her jacket at a housing complex near Surf Avenue at noon. The thief then went to a store on Neptune Avenue near W. Sixth Street and made purchases using the contents of her wallet, buying more than $200 worth of items, police said.
