Teen trouble
Cops cuffed three teenagers for allegedly punching a boy and stealing his wallet on 71 Street on June 26.
The 18-year-old victim told police that the teenagers allegedly punched him in the face and body between 14th and 15th avenues at 5:45 pm, before snatching his wallet and fleeing in a Toyota.
The police stopped the car shortly after and cuffed the suspects, according to police reports.
Savings scheme
A sleaze bag schemed a 66-year-old woman out of $343,000 between April and June.
The victim told police that the conman hacked her bank account and convinced her that he could help her get her money back if she wired him money, which the victim did — sending the hoaxer 11 payments over the course of two months from her home on 83rd Street and 16th Avenue.
Hat crime
A burglar stole a hard hat, electronics, and cash from a car on Bay Parkway on June 25.
The victim told police that the thief rummaged through his car parked overnight between Benson Avenue and 86th Street at and took his hard hat, $10, and assorted electronics.
