A man was fatally shot in Canarise on Sept. 11.
Police say Shane Johnson was shot in his chest and leg on Avenue M between East 92nd and 93rd streets at 11:31 am. Emergency medical services pronounced Brooks dead on arrival.
There are no arrests but the investigation is ongoing, according to authorities.
