State Senator Martin J. Golden has authored an express bus survey and distributed it at local bus stops and through his office to riders of the X 27/X37 and the X 28/X38 bus routes.
The survey was designed to give those who utilize local express bus service in Bay Ridge, Dyker Heights, and Bensonhurst, an opportunity to share their comments related to the service currently being provided.
The responses will be instrumental in his upcoming discussions with the Metropolitan Transit Authority so to provide adequate service for all commuters.
Golden stated the surveys “will assist in addressing service problems experienced on these lines. I am confident that this survey will be successful in bringing about changes that will improve service on the express buses.”
The survey asked for commuters to respond to issues related to overcrowding, the length of the commute, and about the weekend express bus service. Golden also encourages anyone interested in completing the survey to contact his office at 718-238-6044 or visit his website at www.senatorgolden.com.
The survey can be returned via regular mail to Golden’s office at 7408 Fifth Avenue, Brooklyn, New York 11209 or via fax at 718-238-6170.
