The Parents’ Association of Leon M. Goldstein High School for the Sciences presents its Second Annual Comedy Night, a fund-raising event that will be held May 15 at 7:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center of Kingsborough Community College, 2001 Oriental Boulevard in the Manhattan Beach section of Brooklyn.
The college has graciously offered the use of their acoustically designed, air-conditioned auditorium, while the LMGHS Parents’ Association has brought this event to fruition due to their commitment to the students. They have earmarked all proceeds to enhance the school’s Science Department.
Last year marked the first Leon M. Goldstein High School Comedy Night, a huge success despite the fact that it took place during a surprise February snow storm. Success was attributed to the performances of very talented comedians as well as the efforts of extremely dedicated parents.
For the past several months, the Leon Goldstein High School Parents’ Association has been hard at work diligently preparing for their Second Annual Comedy Night and, as a result, are happy to announce that they have booked four well-known, top-rated comedians who will provide the audience with a spectacular “Night of Comedy.”
A wide variety of refreshments and goodies have been planned, designed for a fun-filled and entertaining evening for all.
Tickets are $30 and can be purchased by contacting Lou Caiazzo at 646-299-8872, Debra Eng at 718-368-8564, by emailing Eng at deng3@schools.nyc.gov or at the box office door.
