New York Cares, the city’s leading volunteer organization, offers hundreds of ways for Brooklyn residents to get involved in their community through rewarding, conveniently scheduled projects.
Becoming a New York Cares volunteer is easy. Simply attend a one−time orientation, and then choose from more than 900 citywide projects each month.
Orientations for new volunteers will be held at the Brooklyn Public Library−Pacific Branch, 25 Fourth Avenue, Carroll Gardens, June 17 from 6:45−7:45 p.m. and June 20 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and at the Dodge YMCA, 225 Atlantic Avenue, Park Slope, June 23 from 6:30−7:30 p.m.
