Oxy thief busted

Pill-popper nabbed

A 23-year-old was arrested for an Aug. 31 heist on Kings Highway in which he and a partner robbed a woman of a bottle of prescription Oxycodone.

The woman was nearing E. 15th Street at 7 pm when the suspect and a partner crept up behind her, knocking her to the ground.

The thief then plucked the pill bottle from the woman’s back pocket — only to be taken into custody two days later.

Polo plucker

A sticky-fingered 43-year-old was arrested on Aug. 30 following a brief crime — he swiped a package of Polo Men’s underwear from the TJ Maxx store on E. 15th Street.

The thief tried to exit the store, which is between Kings Highway and Avenue P, at 12:25 pm when store employees grabbed and held him until police could charge him with petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.

Park pickers

Three thieves attacked a 13-year-old boy inside Marine Park on Sept. 2, taking his cellphone.

The victim was inside the park near E. 38th Street and Avenue U at 1 am when the thieves lunged at him.

“Don’t make a scene and don’t call the cops,” one of the thieves threatened before forcing the boy to empty his pockets.

Window wiggle

A thief snuck into an Avenue T home on Sept. 4 after wiggling his way into a basement window.

The thief removed some jewelry and cosmetic creams during the burglary, which took place sometime after 1 pm.

Camera swiper busted

Cops from the 70th Precinct have arrested a 16-year-old in connection with a May 1 camera robbery on Flatbush Avenue.

The victim was approaching Glenwood Road at 12:35 am when the thief barrelled into him, sending him sprawling.

The thief then picked up the victim’s camera and ran off with it, only to be taken into custody by 70th Precinct detectives this week. Investigators charged the thief with robbery, attempted assault and criminal possession of stolen property.

Box-cutter blues

A brute was arrested on burglary charges after he barged into an enemy’s E. 16th Street home armed with a box-cutter.

The thug was between Albemarle and Beverly roads at 1:05 am, when he got into an argument with his victim.

Witnesses said that the goon pulled the box-cutter and chased the victim — all the way to the victim’s home.

When police arrived, the thug had already forced in the door and was threatening the victim with the box-cutter.
