Ripened fruits and crisp veggies were just the tip of the iceberg for discerning boroughites as they made a beeline for farm−fresh delights on opening day of the Park Slope Farmers’ Market.
Urbanites discovered a cornucopia of fresh produce, plus dairy, meat, fish and baked goods at the outdoor food bazaar, operated by the Fifth Avenue Merchants in front of J.J. Byrne Park at 5th Avenue and 4th Street.
