Barnes & Noble Park Slope is hosting a series of kids events throughout June. Events include:

Pandemonium Poetry Slam – poetry reading, June 6 at 5:30 p.m. Riding high from last year’s “New York Times” coverage, the students of PS 321, 180 Seventh Avenue, are back to read their amazing works of poetry.

Rachel Cohn and Patricia McCormick – reading/discussion/signing, June 18 at 7 p.m. Join best-selling teen fiction authors as they discuss their latest novels “You Know Where to Find Me” and “Sold.”

Valerie Tripp – reading/signing, June 21 at 2 p.m. Calling all American Girl fans. Just in time for the release of the movie, author Valerie Tripp is here to read from and sign copies of “Meet Kit” from her extremely popular American Girl series.

Teen Writing Workshop with Author Ned Vizzini – writing group, June 27 at 5 p.m. Ned Vizzini facilitates a writing workshop for teens. Participants are eligible to publish their work on the group’s online journal, http://give-us-money.blogspot.com.

Storytime with Cathy and Friends – weekly storytime, Saturdays at 3 p.m. Join storytellers for an enchanting storytime. For children ages two through seven.
