Police are hunting for a red-hooded purse-snatcher who socked a Canarsie diner during a recent theft.
The sticky-fingered crook entered the E. 95th Street eatery near Avenue L at 2:40 pm on March 25 and pillaged a woman’s purse, taking her wallet and cell phone, cops said.
The suspect is described as 20-years-old, weighing 170-pounds, and was last seen wearing a red-hooded sweatshirt and glasses. When the woman protested, the suspect hit her, officials said.
