An officer said he spotted the suspect hand another man a small baggie in exchange for an undisclosed amount of cash at 10 pm. When the suspect noticed that the officer was watching, he fled the scene, prompting the officer to chase him.
The suspect allegedly reached into his pant’s pocket, pulled out a baggie of what the officer said appeared to be cocaine, and swallowed the drugs before the officer could confiscate them.
The suspect resisted arrest by flailing his arms and struggling to get away from the officer, but was found with cocaine at the 76th Precicnt at 10:25 pm, according to cops.
