PSAL girls’ basketball round-up: Previlon’s double-double propels Midwood

Senior forward Jessica Previlon had 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Midwood girls’ basketball team to a 54-40 win against Banneker on Wednesday in PSAL Brooklyn AA action.

Brittney McFadden had 14 points, Victoria Story had 10 points and Beranda Felder had 14 rebounds for Midwood (5-4, 4-2 Brooklyn AA Group 2). Banneker is 4-4 in league play. Jennifer Crosland had 12 points and Erica Juarbe had 10 points for Lincoln (5-2 Brooklyn AA Group 2). Canarsie is 0-8.Mathura Nagarwala had 18 points, Sana Hafeez had 15 points and Kiara Atkins added 12 points for LIC (9-1 Queens A). Bryant is 4-6. Ashley Leslie had 23 points and Ilene Potts added 10 points for Environmental Studies (8-0 Manhattan B West). Math, Science and Engineering is 3-6. Jaleesa Wiley had 25 points and Katora Brown added 11 points for CPH/East Harlem (5-1 Manhattan B East). Taisha Sherman had 20 points and Destiny Waters had 10 points for Julia Richman (3-3). Shaniqua Frazier had 22 points and Aneesha Brown had 15 points for Fannie Lou Hamer (9-0 Bronx B East).
