Designer thief
Freebooters stole designer accessories worth more than an estimated $19,000 from an apartment on E. 24th Street on Oct. 3.
The raiders stole a watch, a leather tote bag, two handbags, and a pair of suede boots, all by the designer brand Valentino, from the apartment near Voorhies Avenue between 8:30 am and 8:30 pm, according to cops.
Commercial burglary
Police arrested a suspect for allegedly breaking into a commercial building on Exeter Street on Oct. 1.
The suspect broke through the front door window, busted a panel to an office door, and ransacked other rooms in the building near Oriental Boulevard between 12:40 and 1:15 am, according to cops.
The suspect was arrested later that morning at 9:38 am, cops said.
Depressing robbery
A burglar entered a woman’s on E. 24th Street apartment on Oct. 1 and stole cash and medication.
The victim told police that the filcher got in through an unlocked open window and stole cash, a laptop, bank cards, and anti-depressants, from the apartment near Kings Highway between 6:45 and 7:30 pm.
Rogue severance package
A former employee burgled his a commercial building on Sheepshead Bay Road on Oct. 1, cops said.
The owner of the business near Emmons Avenue said told police that the disgruntled employee broke the lock of the door and slid through the front window to steal the keys for a business van and some cash from the register at 9:30 pm.
The owner also has an active order of protection against the former worker, according to cops.
Vacation raid
A looter broke into an apartment on E. 26th Street between Oct. 3 and 5.
The prowler broke the front door lock and stole a gold chain from the apartment near Kings Highway, at some point between when the victim left for vacation at 9:30 pm on Oct. 3, and when the victim returned at 8:30 pm on Oct. 5, according to cops.
Cash withdrawer
A purloiner broke into a clothing store on Avenue U sometime overnight on Oct. 5 and stole cash.
Police said that the bandit broke the glass side door of the store near Nostrand Avenue sometime between 10:40 pm on Oct. 5 and 8 am the next day. The thief broke into three cash registers, stealing some $700, along with the cash register drawer, police reported.
Cashing in
A rustler broke into an office on E. 13th Street between Oct. 5 and 7.
The brigand got into the building near Kings Highway through an unlocked gate and back door sometime between 1:30 pm on Oct. 5 and 5:15 pm two days later. The snake broke the door lock to the office, stealing some $200, according to police.
