Salute to Nursing at its very finest

Salute to Nursing at its very finest

For the second year in a row, a Sephardic Nursing & Rehabilitation Center nurse received the Nurse of Distinction Award.

This year Ilona Raskina, RN, was presented with the award, established by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the 1199 SEIU RN division and the League of Voluntary Hospitals and Homes.

The Nurse of Distinction Award program was established to recognize nurses who have made a difference in their profession by their outstanding contributions in the field of nursing.

A joint committee of appointed 1199 SEIU RN and league members oversee the program and the committee develops the criteria for the awards, solicits nominations from institutions and interviews the nominees.
