Town Square and Council Members Diana Reyna and David Yassky invite all to the educational showcase Schoolfest at PS 147 & the Brooklyn Latin School, 325 Bushwick Avenue in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn, October 18 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Dozens of schools, day care centers, and other service providers for children will be on hand. Attendees can browse through information tables, and parents can participate in workshops to help them understand their educational choices, including the application process, key deadlines, and more.
For parents, it’s an unparalleled opportunity to learn about neighborhood schools and services and, for schools, it’s an invaluable promotional platform and networking opportunity.
There will also be a student talent show, and free raffle prizes to promote learning.
