Almondine

Now there’s a Park Slope location to Herve Poussot’s legendary DUMBO patisserie. The glass cases are full of sinfully rich desserts such as the chocolate eclair, Sacher Torte, and various cookies and pastries. Poussot says that their sandwiches are made on the “best baguettes in New York” and come with fillings ranging from prosciutto, mozzarella and roasted peppers to apples and brie. They also offer a selection of quiches. Cakes for special occasions can be made to order, and some cakes are available in the showcase. Open daily from 7 am to 7 pm, except for Sunday when the bakery is open from 10 am-6 pm.
