Opened in June 2010 in the heart of Cobble Hill, Brooklyn, Broken English is a modern Italian restaurant where you can enjoy the time-honoured traditions of the Italian cuisine with particular attention to American taste and style.

Broken English prides itself in using only the freshest and finest ingredients of the traditional Italian cuisine. But it is not just about the ingredients, our meals are prepared to perfection and accompanied with a selection of fine Italian wines. Keeping to a simple formula of Italian favourites, all pastas and dishes are made on the premises of the seasonal menu.

It offers a comfortable, myriad, bustling atmosphere with terracotta brick walls, vintage furniture, subtle lighting and a fine bar. The mixture of great Italian food in a relaxing setting is a triumph of attention to both customers and details.

Broken English also boasts a wide American bar where one can unwind Italian style with an aperitivo before your meal or relax with a drink after dinner. Hours: Monday-Friday 11:30 am-3:00 pm, Monday-Friday 5:30 pm-10:30pm, Saturday 12:00 pm-10:30 pm, Sunday 1:00 pm-10:30 pm.
