Brooklynites rolled up to events across the borough to celebrate the weed-smokers’ unofficial holiday — 4/20 — on Saturday.

From infused chocolate workshops and comedy shows and old fashioned picnics, the options for where to light up and enjoy some bud with friends were near-endless as the scene continues to evolve since the legalization of cannabis in New York State three years ago.

The weekend kicked off in Williamsburg on Friday, as the nabe’s first legal dispensary celebrated its official opening just in time for the big day.

On Saturday, MARY Fest, hosted by The Mary Mag, brought together hundreds of consumers, retailers, growers, marketers and brands in Bushwick Saturday to learn about and sample the latest products on the legal market to the backdrop of live music.

The inaugural event featured instructional sessions, including a dedicated class on cultivating marijuana plants at home in a partnership with Royal Queen Seeds, one of the world’s largest seed banks.

Over in Prospect Park’s Long Meadow that sane day, FLAMER, New York’s hottest queer-owned cannabis brand, hosted its annual 4/20 picnic in conjunction with Downtown Brooklyn-based cannabis dispensary The Travel Agency — one of NYC’s original licensed marijuana dispensaries.

Revelers partook in sound baths and meditation with Weed Auntie, as well as some chilled out arts and crafts. The Travel Agency continued the celebrations all weekend long, with a two wellness and weed-focused events on April 21.

In a statement, The Travel Agency co-founder Arana Hankin-Biggers said the company was “thrilled” to celebrate 4/20 in Brooklyn.

“Since cannabis was legalized in New York three years ago, we’ve seen the emergence of what will be one of New York’s most vibrant and developing industries, an industry that has been consistently committed to reversing the damage done by the war on drugs,” Hankin-Biggers said. “The Travel Agency is most proud of the more than 150 jobs we’ve created across the Union Square and Downtown Brooklyn dispensaries, and the significant tax revenue that goes to our communities to improve the quality of life for our neighbors.  This unofficial national holiday for cannabis is a celebration of the positive role it can play in society, and we aim to expand cannabis accessibility and education, in hopes of destigmatizing the plant and those who partake.”
