Archtober Lott House Tours

Closed while it awaits interior renovations, these exclusive tours are a rare chance for New Yorkers and history buffs alike to get a peek into the architectural time capsule and longest single-family owned and occupied home in New York City.

First constructed in 1720 and inhabited by the family of the home’s namesake until 1989 this Dutch farmhouse is unlike others in the city as the inside remains untouched, preserving the architectural fabric of it’s long, storied history—from the American Revolution to the abolition of slavery and the Industrial Revolution to the urbanization of America.

The biography of the Lott House and New York City is seen through the building’s walls and surroundings. And much like the city of New York, it is a tale of survival, progress, and transformation.
