Pit Bull attack

A three-year-old Gravesend boy was rushed to the hospital Easter Sunday after the family pit bull chomped down on his face.

But officials allege that the boy’s parents may have sparked the tragedy: Their ongoing argument rattled the dog, leaving it in an agitated state.

Paramedics were called to the child’s home on 86th Street near Avenue W in Gravesend just before 1 p.m. April 4 after the family dog, Gucci, attacked the toddler.

Officials said that the child was in serious but stable condition after treatment. The dog was taken to Brooklyn’s Animal Care and Control facility to be observed for rabies.

There was no word on the dog’s fate as this paper went to press.
