Central Brooklyn seniors discovered the answers from experts on how to improve their well being – from health care to retirement benefits – during a Senior Services Day hosted by State Senator Senator Kevin Parker in Flatbush.
The community forum was part of the lawmaker’s free summer mobile series at his district office, 4515 Avenue D, and informed constituents about available services and programs that may affect them.
Participating agencies and organizations included the AARP (American Association of Retired Persons), Social Security Administration, New York State Office of the Attorney General and the New York City Department for the Aging.
